I think i've said it before, I wouldn't put much stock in Pajama Media. I went to high school with one of writers and his conservative ideology makes Sarah Palin look like a bleeding heart liberal.

Having said that, from your article:
ABC-57 reporter Alyssa Marino’s editor sends her on a half-hour drive southwest of their South Bend studio, to the small town of Walkerton (Pop. ~2,300). According to Alyssa’s own account on Twitter, she “just walked into their shop [Memories Pizza] and asked how they feel” about Indiana’s new Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

Owner Crystal O’Connor says she’s in favor of it, noting that while anyone can eat in her family restaurant, if the business were asked to cater a gay wedding, they would not do it. It conflicts with their biblical beliefs. Alyssa’s tweet mentions that the O’Connors have “never been asked to cater a same-sex wedding.”

You've never been asked to cater a same-sex wedding? No shit. :dunce: It wouldn't surprise me if (and most likely) her comments were taken way..WAY out of context.

I know, right? Just because you like to give your buddy a handie under the table while he enjoys some wholesome Christian pizza doesn't make you gay.

Btw, why are states wasting time on Religious Freedom Acts? Is the First Amendment of the US Constitution not enough for them?

Apparently, it isn't. When the Constitution guarantees the free practice of religion, but when unofficial protected classes can persuade the government to sanction those who refuse to be forced to ignore their religious beliefs, I'd say the 1st Amendment doesn't mean much.
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

OK, time to have everyone put their money where their mouth is.

Whenever you go into ANY restaurant or business, you MUST ask the owner of that business, and the manager on duty, and anyone who serves you, what their stand is on every topic on which you have a preference.

Whether they disagree with you or not, you must post those views on some social media outlet...and then scorn, or support them.

Topics can include:

Anal sex
Old people
Assisted Suicide
Abortion
Infidelity
Religion
The Middle East
Beans in Chili
The 1% moochers
The 49% moochers
The rest of us
People who go into the express checkout line with more items than the posted limit
Driving in the left hand lane
Racism
Lawyers
Lip synched live performances
Obama phones
Tolerance...or not
Young girls having bigger breasts these days
Quotas
Developers
Politicians
...and anything else that is important to you.

If you are not asking these things, and more, you are failing to do your duty as a 'Merican, both as a Liberal who is trying to cleanse the Earth of things they don't like, and as a Conservative who doesn't want their children to see other points of view.

We must root out and shun those who do not think as we do. Close their businesses. Let's attack, or cuddle, in a kind and non-violent way, those old fashioned country bumpkins, uppity knewgrows, imported sand clowns, and illegal dirty people from down south.

Let's be affronted by others...and let everyone know about it. It is so liberating and cleansing for the soul, and when everyone who doesn't think like us is forced to live, or die on their own, in hole in the ground, there will finally be peace on Earth. :thumb:

Onward, Chris and soldiers. Let's be the start of something big!

The first amendment (like all of the Bill of Rights) is limited.

The only thing to argue about is how much to limit it. :coffee:

Amazingly its as if we don't actually get it...
Its NOT ABOUT respecting any religion
The reason this country works and has gotten where its gotten

Is because we DISRESPECT each religion equally
No religion should be respected in any way outside of the four walls of their TAX FREE church
Beyond those walls the process of complete and total DISRESPECT is all that has kept this Nation moving forward

As soon as we FLIP THAT paradigm and make it about "Respect" we're doomed...
as we can see we're already marching headlong into this fools paradise

Go f*ck your stupid religion... This is BUSINESS and Free Market - that's where the magic lies
That is what has gotten us to where we are - far in advance of our meddling stupid counterparts
tip toeing around the eggshells of religious respect is a FOOLS JOURNEY for a nation founded as ours

Which they acknowledged and said they had no trouble with...

They were asked by a stupid lib for a faux story if they would cater a gay wedding, which is a stupid question because only a stupid lib would think anyone would cater a wedding with pizza, and they said no, citing religious reasons. Reading is fundamental. :dunce:

Only because of work and family on the east coast (Philly area, VA, CT). Otherwise, I wouldn't be here. Certainly won't retire here. I won't be retiring to KY, IN, or WA, but would certainly pick KY or IN over WA.
