The local TV news types in Philly trumpeted the win of Tom Wolf over incumbent Tom Corbett as governor of PA, ignoring that Corbett was a historically bad candidate who kept tripping over his own dick. That was the only Donk pickup in a governorship. Once PA gets a pantload of Wolf's planned tax increases, they'll give him the boot after one term.

Of course, Corbett lacked the political skill to converse about that with the electorate so he's rightfully out of a job come January.

You can give Penn State alums a good deal of credit for sending Corbett to the unemployment line. His role in the Paterno firing, his refusal to prosecute Sandusky despite considerable evidence and his connection to the Second Mile Foundation turned out the Penn State vote.
