I'm also wondering how this fits into the mission of the school for science, mathematics and engineering. :coffee:

On Tuesday, as McKinley Middle School students worked on a unit about war and peace

According to the article, the students were studying war and peace. That sounds like history to me. We still teach history right? I don't see why this is a big deal, unless you are a conk lemming like Tman, DSUSucks or FuckU.

I like the history story where FDR lied to Americans about the Germans so he could continue his Presidency and perpetuate his embezzling activity...

...and Kennedy's inability to handle Russian foreign policy challenges forcing him to seek guidance from Senate Republican leaders...

...or Obama's selling out the African-American community and middle class...

...or houndawg's plea deal that defers his sex-offender registry requirement for five years...

What is the educational value of comparing Bush to Hitler? You could compare Hitler to Lenin, Stalin, Churchill, Mao, etc. It might not be blatant but I would guess that the teacher is pushing propaganda which is completely inappropriate. I would love to see the responses and how they were graded. It's a subjective question so there is no way the teacher could give someone a poor grade if they made the effort.

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

Comparing any US President to a dictator is problematic from the beginning.
It would be like comparing a publicly traded company to a private company, only worse.
