No ****, sherlock. I spent 8 years in ISR and we've had the dumbest soldiers master complex systems in a matter of weeks. Think about it. If you are Russia, and you are providing these freedom fighters with weapons that they may not know how to use, you are going to provide instruction and probably a few people to stick around.
If that is the case would make the Russians responsible, no different than if they pulled the trigger themselves.

I deal with HVAC techs all day.

Most of them can't add 3+3 in their head. However, you set a HVAC system in front of them that has 4 different fault codes flashing off they'll pull the wiring apart, diagnose, and repair faster than you can blink.

It blows my mind to see people that are nothing other than the standard mouth breather 99% of the time do shit that I couldn't even begin to figure out (and I'm fairly intelligent)

The Russians/Soviets have a history of doing just that.

This.

UN needs to send multinational team IMMEDIATELY before scene is destroyed.

And before you spew "fuck the UN", remember both east and west have stakes in the conflict...it HAS to be UN.

One last observation...most news agencies have declared it was a Soviet surface to air Buk missile that dhot down the airliner...

...REALLY?

At this early stage, unless the launch was detected/tracked, OR UNLESS THAT STORY WAS PLANTED, how would anyone be able to make that determination?

Fuck, you and Limbaugh have it figgered out already dontcha???

it doesn't take years of training to learn how to have a radar scan the sky and then have the second radar interrogate a transponder. After that, it's almost as easy as pushing a button.

That is, if they are in fact using a Grizzly. :coffee:

Of course? Wait, was that even a question? If these rebels have taken out a plane, it's almost certainly with the help of the Russians. I wouldn't expect anyone to think otherwise.

Documentingreality has some pretty gruesome pics of the bodies, scattered for kilometers around (according to the descriptions), and many still intact but showing signs of a ground impact. You can certainly tell that some of them fell out of the airplane instead of falling with it (most bodies I've seen in airplane crashes are mangled beyond recognition). It was not a good end to some of these people.

RIP.

And, out come the a-hole, washed up, backseat driver warhawk fucks, playin' politics.....

:ohno:

(CNN) – If the Malaysia airliner in Ukraine was shot down, then the United States will need to take action against the assailants, two Republican senators argued Thursday.

"If it is the case, then we're going to have to act and act in the most stringent fashions, including real sanctions, including giving the Ukrainians the ability to defend themselves, which we have not done so far," Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona,
said in an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper.

Ooooh, tough guy POW!!!! :o :o :o :o     :o :o

While early speculation about the crash has focused on the possibility of the plane being shot down, it's still unclear exactly what caused the tragedy.

McCain emphasized that he doesn't know how the plane crashed, but also argued that if the incident was caused by pro-Russian separatists, as Ukrainian officials have claimed, then the violent situation on the Ukrainian-Russian border could require heightened intervention by the U.S.

"If, if - I keep emphasizing if - it was a missile that was launched, either by Russia, or the quote separatists which in my view are indivisible, it would have the most profound repercussions," said McCain, who serves as the ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

War with Russia! Fuck, yeah!!! Murrica!!!!

whelp...
A Malaysia Airlines plane carrying 295 passengers and crew came down Thursday while flying over the battle-torn east Ukraine region of Donetsk, after it was hit by what U.S. intelligence agencies said was a surface-to-air missile.

The intelligence sources didn't say whether the missile was fired by Ukrainian forces or pro-Russia separatist rebels.

Apparently Putin's plane was on a nearly identical path less than 30 minutes a head of the passenger plane that was hit.

I also have no idea the authenticity of this...but

http://pastebin.com/d4quutU6" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
One phone call apparently was made at 4:40 p.m. Kyiv time, or 20 minutes after the plane crash, by Igor Bezler, who the SBU says is a Russian military intelligence officer and leading commander of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic. He reports to a person identified by Ukraine’s SBU as a colonel in the main intelligence department of the general headquarters of the armed forces of the Russian Federation Vasili Geranin regarding the shot down plane, which is about to be examined by the militants.

The second intercepted conversation released by the Security Service of Ukraine was apparently between militants nicknamed “Major” and “Greek” immediately upon inspection of the crash site.

I'm calling BULLSHIT!!

Bloodless, clean, trauma-free bodies lying amongst shredded, fire/smoke damaged fuselage/superstructure.

HORSESHIT!!

Looks like a FEMA training recreation.

Obviously there should be some kind of response, but do you really want an all-out war between two countries with enough nukes to destroy the solar system?

Obama ordered it shot down to distract everyone from all the other mayhem he created.
