Cheats come in all political and age ranges.
Non-profits are the worst. They think they are tax exempt just because they are a non-profit. :ohno:

Have to say though, churches are the easiest to deal with. Those weird "fair trade" fuckers are the worst.

Maddow doesnt do political analysis. She does the Koch Brothers (oh my!) and thats about it.

Limbaugh is also myopic (he specializes in the Clintons)- but I think he knows them better than they know themselves. He built his audience on Bill.

Watch what happens in the 2016 coronation- Limbaugh is going to call every spin, every obfuscation, every pander ("I aint no ways tired!) as if he was Hill's own campaign manager

Um... Karl Rove did call the last election as a "Landslide for Romney"
Rove was interviewed a whole bunch of times by a whole bunch of people and predicted an utter landslide

Its hyperbole to CID, but then so is "Good morning".

Karl was yapping about some district in Ohio I think it was that was going to change things and some staffer told him it didn't look good so he jumped up and ran in the back and came out looking a bit dyspeptic. Apparently the guys rigging the vote machines were working for the Ds this time.. :lol:

Me saying that Limbaugh knows what makes the Clintons tick

Yeah those two are completely related and therefore

I believe we were at: Maddow and Limbaugh are "same same" :nod:
And I was awaiting some enlightened response assuring that Limbaugh was far more well researched and accurate in his ultimate quest of seeking the unbiased truth.
Limbaugh's a hell of a lot more entertaining. He's got a sense of humor. Good use of sarcasm, etc.

And he doesn't claim to be unbiased. If you listen to him enough you'll hear him say he has no interest in being unbiased. He's up front about where he's coming from.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth

Right... ^ I'm glad we agree
Limbaugh is NOT about the TRUTH nor is he on a search for the truth

Thanks for wrapping this up John

Nope, it happened live on Fox - Rove predicted Romney would take at least 279 votes (he got 206) and then melted down on live TV when Fox called the election for Obama. It was a beautiful moment, pity you missed it. :lol:

Now that you mention it they do both look like offspring of the Pillsbury dough boy. :coffee:

Just as an update thinking about this topic, today while I was on the road I heard Limbaugh describe that study Col Hogan posted on earlier this week that failed to find sufficient evidence to say there's an association between eating saturated fats and heart disease. In this case I'd already heard about it. But if I hadn't and I wanted to talk to people about it I'd have Googled it then cited whatever sources I found doing that instead of telling people I heard Rush Limbaugh talk about it.

Earlier this week I heard a couple of good nuggets on Liberals doing ridiculous things. One was the Minnesota Senate voting to rename "Asian Carp" to "Invasive Carp." Googled it and, sure enough:

http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2014/04/2 ... nn-senate/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It’s a response to concern by some people that the current term casts people from Asian cultures in a negative light.
That speaks for itself, I think.

Another one was the National Education Association and the Center for American Progress announcing concern over a diversity gap between public school teachers and their students. Googled it and, sure enough:

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/studies-sou ... gap-in-us/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth

But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

Nope, it happened live on Fox - Rove predicted Romney would take at least 279 votes (he got 206) and then melted down on live TV when Fox called the election for Obama.
Rove's mistake was questioning the quality polls. He kept questioning their turnout models. But those people know what they're doing. They've demonstrated that over and over again in national elections. In my lifetime I don't remember a case in which the Presidential polls were wrong in terms of the actual result being outside of their stated margins of error. By that I mean that if you look at the last polls taken just before the elections.

People who say they don't believe polls like that haven't been paying attention to their accuracy rate. Or they just don't want to accept what they're saying. I don't know if you guys remember this but going into that election I was steadfast in saying Obama was going to win and the reason I was saying that is that's what the polls indicated and the people doing those polls have done more than enough in terms of actual validated performance to engender confidence in their results.

The only time I can recall seeing political election polls be really seriously off was when David Duke was running for office in Louisiana. The polls always substantially under stated his actual support level. The theory is that people did not want to admit to pollsters that they were going to vote for him because they knew it was taboo. I think I've heard about effects like that happening in other places in local elections. But I've never seen it in a Presidential election in my lifetime.
