You know, the best decision I EVER made to maximize my earning potential was resign my commission and start my civilian career at age 32 instead of putting in another 10 years of active service and collecting that big fat
Because I chose to do only 11 years active service and completed my time by doing 11 years in the reserves I have to wait until I'm 60 to collect any military pension that may or may not be there--hell, in 10 years this COUNTRY may or may not be here.
