Yep. Probably cuz you're spending all your time outside the Federal Building in Savannah protesting instead of signing up (correctly).

And you represent EVERY family in America.

Baldy, on orders from Limbaugh, and like George Wallace at the schoolhouse door, is in disguise, taking expired identification and murky documents to the death panels to try and sign up, deliberately stalling and creating diversion in order that the fifteen black families in line behind him do not get healthcare under the AFA.

What's fascinating is you have "conks" a whole 10 minutes to respond. Unlike most Donks, the Conks on this board are all gainfully employed and can't spend every waking moment defending conk honor on the internet.

This argument is a non-starter. I know many small businessmen, some with zero employees, on up to some with 10-12 employees....ALL were able to get healthcare on an individual basis prior to this law. Most people who are entrepenureal in nature find a way to become their own boss. Most who just THINK they want to be their own boss find out very quickly that they can't survive the fluctuations in income inherent in any small business and long for the "steady paycheck" days. It has very little to do with healthcare...
So you're admitting that Obama Care isn't bad for the 96% of American Businesses...?

:ugeek: interesting...
No, I'm admitting Obamacare wasn't NECESSARY. Heathcare was already available for small business owners. To act like this is some kind of miracle just invented by Obamacare is ignorant of the facts.

Define vacation. i was recalled ten and a half hours before my reporting time to work. Unless you call hanging out at home a vacation, I was not on vacation.

October is a big month for vacations among acquisition folks like myself, who are customarily put in a no-leave period in August and September due to fiscal year end workload. The shutdown has wreaked havoc on a lot of folks' vacation plans because they were put in furlough status which could potentially place them awol if they were recalled and did not report the next day.
Does paid to sit at home while not working suffice?

Sucks about some people who had vacation plans in Oct being messed up. As far as the 20% furlough reduction from this past summer, I think that was a bunch of BS. There's is a massive amount of pork in the fed govt that could have been cut without having to furlough any fed employees.

What sayeth you to this?
The system has worked well enough for big employers, since large workforces make possible the pooling of risk that any healthy insurance market requires. But small businesses often face so-called “experience rating”: a business with a lot of women or older workers faces high premiums, and even a single employee who runs up medical costs can be a disaster. A business that Arensmeyer represents recently saw premiums skyrocket because one employee has a child with diabetes. Insurance costs small companies as much as eighteen per cent more than it does large companies; worse, it’s also a crapshoot. Arensmeyer said, “Companies live in fear that if one or two employees get sick their whole cost structure will radically change.” No wonder that fewer than half the companies with under fifty employees insure their employees, and that half of uninsured workers work for small businesses or are self-employed. In fact, a full quarter of small-business owners are uninsured, too

Of course he doesn't have any problems (so far). He got a one year waiver, unlike individuals.

My wife works for a small business (employs about 250 people) which is also in the medical industry (allied health). Because Obamacare is raping Medicare to the tune of over $500,000,000, reimbursements for some diagnostic testing procedures will be reduced between 70% to 80%. This will effectively put my wife's employer out of business eventually if something doesn't change. That, of course, is just one aspect. This doesn't include the countless thousands of additional unnecessary regulations totaling ungodly amounts of $$$$$$$$$$$$.

I could go on and on, but that was the first thing that popped in my mind.

Those small business owners are going to see their available pool of options get MORE expensive, not less. And I'm not sure what's magic about the 50 employee mark. In February I started with a very large credit union in Texas...1700 employees. Our healthcare costs for 2014 will see a 31% increase, and we "live in fear...our whole cost strcuture will radically change" too. It already has, thanks to Obamacare.

Lame argument - is anyone preventing anyone else from getting health insurance? Is the government subsidizing gun purchases? You can buy health insurance and you can buy a gun. You might not be able to afford it but the opportunity is there.
Being wrong about a topic is called post partisanism - kalm

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

Sounds like your wife's company is clueless, or is trying to run diagnostic tests that are not needed.

Medicare is very suspicious, with damn good reason, of testing companies - a good many of them exist solely to rip people off. Not casting stones at your wife's company, but the fact is that the 50-70% of the companies in that field are NOT run properly, convince people to take unnecessary or useless tests, then try to charge insurers and Medicare rates at 10,000% mark-up over true cost.

Medicare is awesome for my practice, which is one of the five largest in the country in it's specialty. Pays on time, with no hassle.
