To Obama's defense, he didn't come from money the way Dubya did so he doesn't have a family ranch that he can retreat to. Obama's vacations are going to be more expensive as a result.

They are never off duty so what does it matter? They pay a portion of Air Force 1 and many of their expenses (aside from security) so really what's it matter.
