Re: Justice Dept. Investigation re: Zimmerman
I wonder how Holder is going to weasel out of charging Zimmerman, since that is the only possible outcome here.
Maybe they'll "investigate" until 2016 and then let the next administration explain it to the rabble.

BTW, I am writing a book in order to profit from this supposed tragedy. It will be called, "Pop a Cap in a Punk...Regardless of Color".
Of course, the movie will include the songs, "Jump Around", "The Night Chicago Died" (a re-worked version by NWA that foCUSSes on black-on-black urban crime), and, "Another One bites the Dust". Special effects will include Chameleon Man, who will jump people, sucker punch them, and rob them of their jewelry. He will change colors during mug shots and TV interviews in order to confuse the public. The President will have a cameo where he says, "Chameleon Man looks like my son...because I am black...no wait...half black...no wait, he looks like my half white part...and you know I'd hit a white girl if Bertha Butt, I mean, Michelle, would let me...and WTF color is that guy anyway?"
Get in on the funding now...it is sure to be a great investment.

His actions that night and his history suggests he was looking for some action. He confronted a kid who also had rights. We will never know who started the physical altercation or the degree to which either was winning. He's responsible for the death of another. Zimmerman went looking for trouble and found it. Sorry, but I don't consider him a victim.Cluck U wrote:Dude had a right to carry (some may not like it, but he had the right to do so).kalm wrote: Z's the victim now.

Dude was made a part of a racist agenda.
Of course he is the victim. What part of all that is untrue?

Re: Justice Dept. Investigation re: Zimmerman
There is no evidence that Zimmerman confronted Martin, or that he was looking for some action. In fact, the evidence presented at the trial suggests quite the opposite, that Martin had every opportunity to avoid the conflict but instead chose to assault Zimmerman and inflict bodily harm on him.kalm wrote:His actions that night and his history suggests he was looking for some action. Zimmerman was a victim of a vicious beating at the hands of Martin, Martin was the victim of Zimmerman exercising his right to self defense under Florida law. That is what the evidence presented at the trial showed.
EVERYTHING else is pure speculation on your part and not supported in any way by eyewitness testimony or physical evidence.

Z-man was a victim. No matter how many times a person says it, following another person you believe might be suspicious is NOT a crime...and it does NOT warrant a physical assault.
Are you one of those people that says a rape victim was looking for trouble?

You could be correct. I didn't realize the evidence suggested Martin instigated the fight or that he had every opportunity to avoid it.blueballs wrote:There is no evidence that Zimmerman confronted Martin, or that he was looking for some action. I'll gracefully bow of the argument with Tavis Smiley's question: where has the NRA been in supporting Martin's right to own a gun? If Trayvon had a gun he might still be with us....
