Well sure, if it goes down EXACTLY as Zimm claims, he should sue just to protect his name.

Still, he killed an unarmed kid who's mistake was to confront a stalker. The Robitussin/nowhere near innocent is pure conjecture. Zimmerman's stalking is not. :coffee:
Stalking????

Florida has a very well defined and strict stalking law. This case in no way fits that law. As the juror and the defense attorneys stated to the media yesterday, this was self defense, period.
Are any of the jurors on record yet as saying they thought it was self defense? Just because they acquitted him, doesn't necessarily mean they believed his story.

I'm curious to see what they say.

Florida's Stalking Statute defined:
784.048 Stalking Defined as Willful, malicious, and repeated following or harassing. (704.048(2)); Aggravated stalking: willful, malicious and repeated following or harassing another with credible threats with the intent to place person in reasonable fear of death or bodily injury; or willfully, maliciously, repeatedly follows or harasses minor under 16; or after injunction for protection or any court-imposed prohibition of conduct, knowingly, willfully, maliciously and repeatedly follows or harasses another person.
Yeah, that's exactly what Zimmy was doing.

They believed Zimmerman used poor judgment and got in over his head, but truly feared for his life.

They also never discussed race and she says it wasn't a factor at all.

Sounds like they did their civic duty.

I sincerely apologize to the board for mis-using the legal term "stalking" as common term. That was insensitive of me.

I have, on good authority, that kalm is "that guy" in a neighborhood who keeps watch on who comes and goes. I am sure he has a diary of who in the neighborhood does what and who might be a terrorist.

I would sure think he'd have some grounds for defamation from the MSM. Plus the book deal he'll get will likely do pretty well. He'll need the cash to pay off his attorneys and get plastic surgery so he doesn't have to go all covert Salman Rushdie style.

Dershowitz was right- that prosecutor needs to be disbarred.

"A former employee of Florida State Attorney Angela Corey's office plans to file a whistleblower lawsuit against George Zimmerman's prosecutors, his attorney told Reuters on Tuesday.

The action will put pressure on Corey, who already faces criticism from some legal experts for the unsuccessful prosecution of the case, which led to the acquittal of Zimmerman for shooting unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman's defense has also called for sanctions against her and her prosecution team.

Ben Kruidbos, Corey's former director of information technology, was fired after testifying at a pre-trial hearing on June 6 that prosecutors failed to turn over potentially embarrassing evidence extracted from Martin's cell phone to the defense, as required by evidence-sharing laws.

"We will be filing a whistleblower action in (Florida's Fourth Judicial District) Circuit Court," said Kruidbos' attorney Wesley White, himself a former prosecutor who was hired by Corey but resigned in December because he disagreed with her prosecutorial priorities. He said the suit will be filed within the next 30 days."

Kruidbos testified last month in a pre-trial hearing that he found photos on Martin's phone that included pictures of a pile of jewelry on a bed, underage nude females, marijuana plants and a hand holding a semi-automatic pistol.
