Well they played Cal Poly last year in a amazing triple overtime contest...I believe the final was 53-51 EWU.
Winning that one would have been sweet but it was a hell of a game either way.
It was an epic game. I don't expect we'll see that kind of score this year, but hoping for another good one nonetheless. It's pretty much a must-win for us, so I expect our boys to let it all hang out on Saturday.

Barely. And only because of capacity. We're averaging over max capacity for the second straight year.
Sac: Games/Avg Per Game 4/9600 (21,195 capacity)
EWU: Games/Avg Per Game 3/9296 (8,600 capacity)
Really? I thought the 2004 renovation put Woodward/Roos's capacity over 10k.
Nope. The 2004 pressbox and endzone seating upped it to 8600 from 7000. The only reason the UM/MSU games are over 10/11k is because of the temp bleachers trucked in.

I sure hope that's not sarcasm.
Sac's average attendance is higher than EWU's, though.
We had a piss poor showing for the CP game. Absolutely pathetic showing. How we draw 12k for Homecoming against a winless Weber State team and then can't even crack 9k for a marquee matchup against CP is pathetic.

And Cal Poly brought a hell of a lot more fans than Weber State.
Anyone else think a rainy game favors Cal Poly? I do
Running game slows down a bit but disciplined ball control is something Cal Poly can do. If the rain can slow EWU,s talented WRs...Cal Poly may have a shot

Yup, just goes to show how few Hornet fans showed up and decided to watch the Giants sweep the Tigers instead.
