What? Bush never stated he stopped searching. The Decider said,
Well, as I say, we haven't heard much from him. And I wouldn't necessarily say he's at the center of any command structure. And, again, I don't know where he is. I -- I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him. I know he is on the run. I was concerned about him, when he had taken over a country. I was concerned about the fact that he was basically running Afghanistan and calling the shots for the Taliban.

But once we set out the policy and started executing the plan, he became -- we shoved him out more and more on the margins. He has no place to train his al Qaeda killers anymore. And if we -- excuse me for a minute -- and if we find a training camp, we'll take care of it. Either we will or our friends will. That's one of the things -- part of the new phase that's becoming apparent to the American people is that we're working closely with other governments to deny sanctuary, or training, or a place to hide, or a place to raise money.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1244536/posts

We were in Afghanistan, searching caves, fighting the Taliban, trying to find him. Bush is an idiot that either had retards as speech writers or liked to "wing it" when giving a statement. Given his history of poor speech, I don't think he meant that he didn't care about finding Osama. Being that we invaded his (OBL) space, made it difficult for him to train, raise money, committ acts of terror,etc... that Bush wasn't too concerend about OBL anymore. However, he still was on the hunt. That's how I read the statement.

Track record?

How many countries did Bush get involved with militarily (including funding arms) versus Obushma? How many governments did Bush overthrow versus Obushma? How many countries have had their sovereignty violated by Bush? How many by Obushma? :dunce:

Too funny...Obushman flat out declares he'll drop a bomb on any country, and kill any number of civilians (ooops, they aren't civilians anymore...anyone that is of an age where they can carry a gun and who is killed near a bad guy is officially now considered to be an "enemy combatant" ), just to get a target that he has deemed a bad guy. And yet you, with a seemingly straight face, say Neocons have a "track record".

Hey, now that my boy is in office, killing people, even innocent ones (too bad they were in the wrong place at the wrong time, but that's life...and death - from above  ) is good!

Uh, but it was bad when Bush did it.

You stating neocons having no track record is hilarious and false. I could write a book, no...a series of books, about how Bush and the neocons destroyed countless lives the 8 years they had power. So don't get me started.

And newsflash, I'm not a democrat. Good try though. :dunce:

If you think, regardless of your political affiliation, that Bush's actions (and mistakes) made no difference in the US finding Osama then you should remove the blinders. I'm not a fan of George Bush, but he did start them off. Obama wouldn't have been in that position if it weren't for Bush.

Do you think FDR had anything to do with Truman accepting the Japanese defeat or was it all Harry?

Track record?

And yet you, with a seemingly straight face, say Neocons have a "track record".
Why question it if you think they had a track record? And then say I have a "straight face" as if it's supposed to be funny and untrue. You are strongly suggesting that neocons did not have a track record without saying it directly. :dunce:

Hey, now that my boy is in office, killing people, even innocent ones (too bad they were in the wrong place at the wrong time, but that's life...and death - from above ) is good!
Since you are directing this post torwards me, stating my boy is saying he is someone I support and will vote for him no matter what. Therefore, that is highly inferring I am a democrat. :dunce:

No wonder you're continually confused...you only read...and only quote...what you want to read. Forget that facts, just rewrite quotes to fit your agenda. Go back and read it again, and include the parts you didn't bother to quote, and then slap yourself when you realize that you are stuck on stupid.

You brought up the neocons "track record"...without bothering to mention Obama's track record...as if the neocon track record was special. That is what is so funny. Are you that dumb?

JFK, neocon man  , got us into Vietnam. how many of our kids died...and for what? What did that neocon Johnson do? Neocon Clinton: Somalia...Sudan...Afghanistan...the Balkans...Haiti...Iraq...Iran... Obama...oh, that's right, you were about to tell me how many countries' sovereignty have been violated by our "fair" neocon Obama...you know, in comparison to those other neocons you were talking about, weren't you?

BTW, Hilarious Clinton said in Dakar, the Senegalese capital, that we “will stand up for democracy and universal human rights, even when it might be easier or more profitable to look the other way. Not every partner makes that choice, but we do and we will.” (News24.com, Aug. 5)  Oh yeah...except Obama looked the other way, in deference to our Saudi oil partners, while our friends in Bahrain killed those pesky people who want democracy.

And no, I didn't imply you were a Democrat...plenty of non-partisan dopes make excuses for Obama. :thumb:
