Post by 93henfan »

Routine training flight. Hmmmmmmmmm. Maybe Perdue's chickens look like terrorists from just the right altitude.

Wasn't Andy headed that way?

Andrew, have you ever been denied entry to a commercial airliner? Are you on any lists?

I KNEW I was being followed!

BTW, I took 54 to 20 to 113 to 16/404 to 50 coming home, In 1:25! Unfortunately, it then took me over an hour to get across the Bay Bridge. Still in a rolling back up I got off on Rte2 and hopped on 10 and was home almost instantly!

An hour to get from Wye Mills, MD to the other side of the Bay Bridge. @25miles in total. I'm fairly certain the whole trip on 50 was simialr to that stretch. So I am still thankful for taking the Delaware route.

Stop for water at a gas station at the intersection of 16 and 113.. My 10 year old "Hey Dad, where are we?" Me, "In the middle of no where".

From what I have heard and read it isn't the life for me...and most everyone I know.

Speaking of...you still in Helena or are you back to The Zoo?

Not on the only way to get across the chesapeake bay in the summertime.

To be fair, the bridge is 12 miles long.

Pretty sure everyone from Delaware would describe the area the same way.

BTW2, I made it from Potomac to Ocean View in 2:35 on Thursday night including a McD's stop in Millsboro. :thumb:

Last night was 2:10 to Route 50 two miles from the Beltway and then 25 minutes to go the 2 miles. :x

And I don't even get a thank you? BTW, we almost always stop at that same Royal Farms or the one at 16 and 13 every trip. The one at 113 is only a year old and it is in the middle of nowhere.

I stopped at the Exxon on the other side. It was a real shit hole. Guy in front of me in line asked for a price check on every kind of chewing tobacco before choosing a can of Skoal. The time waiting behind him I discovered $0.25 boxes of Lemonheads, Cherryheads, Grapeheads and Green Appleheads for me to grab and redistribute in the car. As we pulled out, I saw the giant R-Far and quitely mumbled "FUCK!"

Was that your route you suggested? I pulled out a map and figured it out myself. Geography Degree FTW!

:? I know the RF is on the other side of the road, but you missed it? It's the only notable thing at that intersection.

I think Cap'n Willie Dykes shot down that drone!

Only 93 and I know who he is. Faux Delmarvans like 89 and Andy have no clue.
