I listened to an interview with that guy and it was entertaining and kept my attention throughout.Grizalltheway wrote:

BTW, I took 54 to 20 to 113 to 16/404 to 50 coming home, In 1:25! Unfortunately, it then took me over an hour to get across the Bay Bridge. Still in a rolling back up I got off on Rte2 and hopped on 10 and was home almost instantly!

An hour to get from Wye Mills, MD to the other side of the Bay Bridge. @25miles in total. I'm fairly certain the whole trip on 50 was simialr to that stretch. So I am still thankful for taking the Delaware route.grizzaholic wrote:uhhh....an hour to cross some damn bridge?andy7171 wrote:I KNEW I was being followed!

Stop for water at a gas station at the intersection of 16 and 113.. My 10 year old "Hey Dad, where are we?" Me, "In the middle of no where".

Pretty sure everyone from Delaware would describe the area the same way.grizzaholic wrote:andy7171 wrote: An hour to get from Wye Mills, MD to the other side of the Bay Bridge. @25miles in total. In any event, you guys have nothing on the Chinese when it comes to traffic:andy7171 wrote:Not on the only way to get across the chesapeake bay in the summertime.Grizalltheway wrote:

To be fair, the bridge is 12 miles long.

Speaking of...you still in Helena or are you back to The Zoo?

And I don't even get a thank you? BTW, we almost always stop at that same Royal Farms or the one at 16 and 13 every trip. The one at 113 is only a year old and it is in the middle of nowhere.andy7171 wrote:So I am still thankful for taking the Delaware route.

I stopped at the Exxon on the other side. It was a real shit hole. Guy in front of me in line asked for a price check on every kind of chewing tobacco before choosing a can of Skoal. The time waiting behind him I discovered $0.25 boxes of Lemonheads, Cherryheads, Grapeheads and Green Appleheads for me to grab and redistribute in the car. As we pulled out, I saw the giant R-Far and quitely mumbled "FUCK!"89Hen wrote:And I don't even get a thank you? Was that your route you suggested? I pulled out a map and figured it out myself. Geography Degree FTW!89Hen wrote:And I don't even get a thank you? Actually, you were in Ellendale, pretty much right where I grew up.andy7171 wrote:An hour to get from Wye Mills, MD to the other side of the Bay Bridge. @25miles in total.
