Disagree. Though he certainly has demonstrated a left-leaning bent to his personal thoughts on issues, one cannot deny that, when he speaks of the entire system from 30,000 feet (something you and Z and I can't do), he does, more often than not, give very balanced portrayals.
Don't think so? Take some time and go back into his massive archive. My own personal feeling is that you and others here can't stand it when someone is more versed in something dear to your souls. And, of course, unlike very few of us, you'll never admit it and will, instead, lash out.

Case in point - when the Dems lost in 2004, the base never really wound down - and launched right in to the '06 campaign (hell, the '08 campaign too)...
it's hard to say when it started - because it happened slowly over time. there were seminal moments that sparked the change - that's for sure.

There is no guarantee that any candidate has a solution, our current slow economy has spanned administrations under both parties. I don't think either party has the answer. As far as Obama losing the next election, to me it depends on who he is up against. I will vote for Romney or Paul, I will not vote for Perry or Bachman. ...just for the fact of considering McCain's age and who he picked as his running mate for VP.
It's too bad McCain didn't win in 2000, by the time he ran in 2008 he wasn't the same "Maverick" that he had been, the fight seemed to have gone out of him.

You are not allowed to go back further than TT's proclamation that, although he doesn't know when it started, it actually started with Republicans...somewhere during Bush's time, but TT, as stated, doesn't know exactly when. Somewhere in there, though.
TT also used to work at a carnival. He'd have things narrowed down pretty well there, too.

TT, you said you can't really blame either party, then cited ONLY Republican examples. If you want to come off as "non-partisan", it's really not that difficult. Like I said earlier, it was apparent you TRIED, but rapidly slipped into your "operative" mode as you felt the need to bury the right wing.TwinTownBisonFan wrote:I said you can't really blame either party - and I meant it.
