The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation paid for another tribute, how sweet. His legacy is getting better all the time and besides, the Brits need the money.

Re: For D1B and the rest of the donk brigade.
It's called the Reagan Memorial Fund Trust, and the statue is in Grosvenor Square, a public area (requiring approval by the British gummint). Since the trust commissioned the statue, not only is your claim that the Brits need the money pure hyperbole, it is also not accurate. (No surprises there.)kalm wrote:The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation paid for another tribute, how sweet. His legacy is getting better all the time and besides, the Brits need the money.
There's going to be a piece of the Berlin Wall at the foot of the statue, as well! Whaddaya know?
Don't despair though... they'll cheapen it soon enough by erecting a statue of your boy Barry, holding his Nobel Peace Prize. Probably some time before he leaves office.

Isn't that special? Maybe the Reagan statue could be on one knee offering an autographed bible and an AK to Ayatollah Khomeini?CID1990 wrote:It's called the Reagan Memorial Fund Trust, and the statue is in Grosvenor Square, a public area (requiring approval by the British gummint). Anyone remember the "Democrats for Reagan"?
Regardless of what people think of him, he had more bipartisan support than any President since. (Except for Bush II going into the Iraq War.)

Fritz was a sack of crap even though he is a Citadel grad. When he left the governor's mansion in Columbia, the moving vans loaded all of the furnishings (state property) and moved them to Fritz's Charleston home. The state police had to go to his house to retrieve all of the stolen property.
