That must be why UNC has been so dominant since they joined the Big Sky.
UNC was one of the worst teams in the NCC,
clocking one or two good years total and beating the BISON maybe 5 times in their entire history. The BSC picked them up after their glory just like UND. UND has 5 lower division games this season, or is it 4? Either way its not impressive considering one of the NAIA teams is 1-0 against them. It will be their biggest game and is being hyped as the "Dead in the Shed" bowl. That is if they are still in the NCAA!

Oh, and one other thing, Einstein:
Northern Colorado:
1990: 8-3 (1st round playoffs)
1991: 8-3 (1st round playoffs)
1992: 6-5
1993: 8-3
1994: 7-4
1995: 9-3 (1st round playoffs)
1996: 12-3 (D-II National Champs)
1997: 13-2 (D-II National Champs)
1998: 11-2 (2nd round playoffs)
1999: 11-2 (2nd round playoffs)
2000: 4-7
2001: 4-7
2002: 9-2 (3rd round playoffs)
2003: 9-2
So, in this 14 year span they had 8 playoff appearances, 2 national titles and went 119-48.
NDSU's 14-year stretch looks like the following:
1990: 14-0 (D-II National Champs)
1991: 7-3 (1st round playoffs)
1992: 10-2 (2nd round playoffs)
1993: 7-3
1994: 9-3 (2nd round playoffs)
1995: 10-3 (2nd round playoffs)
1996: 6-4
1997: 9-3 (1st round playoffs)
1998: 7-4
1999: 9-2
2000: 12-2 (3rd round playoffs)
2001: 7-3
2002: 2-8
2003: 8-3
So, in YOUR 14 year span prior to moving up you had 7 playoff appearances, 1 National Title (although none after 1990), and went 117-43. So you can continue to live in la-la land, or you can come into reality and admit that UNC actually OUTPERFORMED you prior to you both moving up.
I think I know which direction you'll go.
