Because if you can get into the pseudo-liberal club you can say just about any outrageously racist, bigoted, hateful thing you like and get away with it. I find it so disturbing that most of the ideals that I hold to be utterly true are so far to the left of anything the current DNC would even think of touching, and yet because I believe that along with these ideals comes a personal accountablity for each citizen of society to do their utmost to make said society successful and prosperous, and that a failure to do so, barring some physical or mental incapacity, renders you a burden worthy of expungement from that society, somehow renders me persona non grata to most of the douches that so incorrectly refer to themselves as to the left. I've seen her interviewed and asked about it and she's right out with it: "YES. I'm Liberal!" Doesn't hide it at all. Really, should anybody be surprised that she takes the "Jews are Occupiers" outlook towards the Iraeli/Palestinian situation? I don't agree with her, but I think it's a shame that people have to worry about getting all sorts of negative ramifications for saying what they think; especially when anybody familiar with them already knows they think it.
