Not that far fetched, but I'm not sure what Elon has done to be #2. No wins over current ranked teams and an OOC that was a loss to Wake and wins over Davidson and Presby. IF they beat App, I can see them being #2.
I had Elon preseason #7, and they just kept sneaking up. It was tough to move them up to #2, but the way their D is playing its tough for me to say there are many teams better than them, plus being undefeated in FCS and no "bad wins"...

Interesting. Montana/Idaho is historically a close game as well. In fact since 2001 the spread has been 4, 4, -3, 2, 22, 13, 13, 19. I guess it's all good, then?

I had Montana at #2 and moved them up to #1. I tend not to ding teams for close conference wins because teams tend to play their best when playing the top team in their conference.

They liked the 38 in that game but didn't care too much for it in the game you lost to us though right? How would you explain us barely getting by ISU and you guys dominating them and yet still losing to us? In other words turnovers were a part of it but not the story. You saw the game and know that already so what is the point about the turnovers exactly?

Watching the ISU game was almost surreal. I kept saying the whole time in my head, "they are going to pull this one away anytime now". But so many times, the Griz would drive the length of the field, only to stall a drive with a penalty, or a turnover.
I would have to say with you winning 38-3, you obviously didn't kill as many drives as the Griz.

That EWU's defense stopped them for the most part and gave us more opportunities to score. Montana's defense didn't.
