SC State isn't getting all that much through the air in terms of distance, but they HAVE thrown 4 TD passes. Their two main backs have totaled 111 yards (the QB and another guy with negative rush stats pull it back a bit). The SCSU punter is also pinning JSU deep with a 50-yard average and a long of more than 70. That's how you win ball games....

SCSU has recruited a homegrown 6'4 gunslinger named Andre Washington to challenge Fields for the starting role for QB next year to pump some life into the passing game.Hampton has gotten its hands on a 6'6 flamethrower from Texas named Micah Mays too bad SC State didn't know about him.
