I’ll trade you one incarnate word for a Duequesne and SEMO. This is what happens when your conference gets three seeds on all the same side. We’ll face two conference champs, two with FBS wins, and two we already played.

Eastern should double that up with the offense they have especially with how they are playing now, but it is the playoffs, every team is going to bring their A game. Cant wait till Saturday to watch the first round.

Usually, but those are usually games featuring Power FCS conf teams vs not power FCS teams. Unless your San Diego than it's the other way around.

Correct, but did you have UIW getting in the field with an at-large? The Selection Show guy certainly asked about Furman. I'm guessing if we did a poll over Furman v UIW before the show, FU would have had more votes.

I would pick Furman to win, but the committee probably took UIW because they were 6-2 vs FCS, beating 4 teams with winning records and losing to 2 teams with winning records, and yes Furman probably would have won those games. Furman was 6-3 vs FCS. Committee doesn't surprise me, just makes me look at why.

It didn't hurt that the Southland rep was Committee Chair.

6 win teams like Furman and ICW would fall behind 6 win UNI and WIU. Furman is closer thanks to a solid SOS. I think ICW is left out for an at-large. Montana would be behind UND and Nicholls based on H2H and Nicholls win against KU. Maybe ISUb too. SEMO shouldn’t but could slide in ahead at 8-3. Then there’s 89’s favorite...a 9-3 NCAT. That leaves a 7-4 Montana firmly on the bubble.

Don't know if it was a typo, but NCAT coulf finish 9-2 and 2nd in the MEAC if FAMU wins.

I don't know why KSU gets such a bad rap... they are VERY good.

Because they haven't beaten anyone besides JaxSt.

I think they deserve a seed but probably a 6-8. As mentioned before the 3 decent teams they played held them to 20, 24, and 24 points. Two of those three don't have very good defenses either.

Also, when you play weak competition, you are bound to look more formidable. I think they'd continue to be a coin flip win against JSU and Samford.

Like I said, watch them play.

Those low point totals are typical for triple option teams. In fact, in those games they had long, sustained drives.

I'm not saying they are seeded too low or high, I'm saying I think the fact that they are seeded is justified.
