No. I definitely remember that.
Just don't think that Mueller has a reputation for leading dog and pony show investigations. If he was done investigating coordination back in May - he would would have closed up shop if you think he is an ethical prosecutor. And Rosenstein wouldn't have appointed him if he thought it was a nothingburger.
Sessions testified that there was not enough factual basis to the Uranium One story to justify the appointment of a special counsel. He and Rosenstein both agree that there has to be some basis of fact to warrant an investigation.
It would take a factual basis that meets the standards of the appointment of a special counsel. We will use the proper standards, and that's the only thing I can tell you, Mr. Jordan. You can have your idea but sometimes we have to study what the facts are and to evaluate whether it meets the standard that requires a special counsel
Perhaps Sessions and Rosenstein are Hillary-bots that apply a different standard to investigate Trump and Co. vs Clinton and Co. ........ but, I'm doubtful.
Do you think that's the case?
There's enough smoke to warrant an investigation of whether there was any coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia. That's not a radical position.
