I did, but didn't Obama give him the boot because he yelled at a woman or something like that? Well that and he was not appointed by Obama.
I don't think he served under Obama but that was a funny incident.
He was a member of PNAC and neo-con wonder boy so congrats for liking his foreign policy.

Bolton doesn't have a "foreign policy"
He's not the President.
Bolton's personal beliefs on policy are immaterial- if he's secstate he'll do what he's told. And I'm just guessing here (as is everyone) but I have a hunch that Trump's foreign policy is going to be anything BUT neoconservative.
When I say he has FP chops I mean he is an experienced diplomat and he's shrewd. He does remind me a lot of Lavrov - smart, and a fighter for the interests of the United States.
Trump could prove me wrong, but I see us pulling away from the world police role- even in places where we've been ensconced since the end of WWII.
I really hope Trump pulls us back. It is in our own strategic interests to do so. The best part though- the most delicious prospect- is going to be when the left, in the process of resisting Trumps every move, suddenly discovers their inner neocon and argues that we simply can't pull back... to many places depend on us for their democracies or something
