You can CHALLENGE that micro aggression all you like. It might even offend you that I dare to criticize. It might offend you that the girl is seeking to chall....oops, I mean question her own religion's authority, but in the end, we still have the RIGHT.

Earth to kalm...come in please.
By getting signatures to change BYU's honor code, by specifically granting immunity to a group of people who willingly break the code, those folks are saying that they don't want BYU to have the right to set their own honor code. In other words, those signatories want to set/change BYU's honor code...thus, THEY, and you, are challenging BYU's right to set their own honor code.
You can sign a petition that says, "BYU has a silly honor code." Fantastic. That would be criticizing the honor code. That is not what is happening. They want to change the honor code. So yeah, they are challenging BYU's right to have their own honor code (versus having an honor code set by someone else).
I'll dumb it down as far as I can for you:
Hey kalm, I'm going to give you the absolute right to have any honor code you want, and I won't challenge that right...but you must conform to my honor code standards instead of anything you might want in your honor code.![]()

Yup...typical dumbass comment from someone who doesn't hold anyone accountable for their actions.dbackjon wrote:Pretty disgusting the attitudes by some on here.
So a girl violates the honor code (but not breaking any laws) gets raped. The only way to report said rape to the authorities is to admit to this honor code violation. So BYU has put women in the situation of:
1) Say nothing, let the rapist get away with it, and likely rape again
2) Report the rape, get kicked out of college, be publically shamed by the church, etc.
Anyone siding with BYU in the slightest is fucked in the head.

Lol - you are an idiotic one-trick pony.Cluck U wrote:Yup...typical dumbass comment from someone who doesn't hold anyone accountable for their actions.dbackjon wrote:Pretty disgusting the attitudes by some on here.

Dback definitely believes his own BS.
And why does he dislike Diane Feinstein? She was the one who solemnly led the presser in San Fran and told the world that Harvey Milk and George Moscone got offed.
She was, and is a two-bit hack who used the death of two great Americans to advance her political career. Her and her vulture husband are war-profiteers that make millions off the blood of American soldiers. She is slime, pure and simple.

Yeah, kinda not. Seems you don't get the irony of his post either. You're off your game today.Chizzang wrote:Yeah... ^89Hen wrote:Might be the funniest thing I've read this year on here.

She knew the deal the minute she put on her magical underpants (or took them off)
why anyone spends one second being outraged about how people treat each other WITHIN their own religion is beyond me
I guess we dont have anything better to do

I see you didn't read the 89Hen part
where he tells us how "we don't get it" when it comes to religion
