To be fair, NDSU did make it to the SuperRegional in Softball last year - which is quite an achievement.DJH wrote:Commitment to athletics huh? Where exactly have the bizon had any success in any sport in DI athletics? Your basketball team plays in a freaking class 3A high school gymnasium.JBB wrote:
Ill skip the head-in-hand shot but really FargoBison, you are now an advocate and trying to make the same points I am about NDSU. Tell me again about Bisonville, how they hated others to say what they were about to say, or were already saying themselves.
NDSU is among the largest programs in this division and the largest in the MVFC. It has made a commitment to its athletic department because it sees athletics as an extension of the University and a way to make it grow and build a strong community. Our volleyball team is 31 in national D1 attendance. Our football teams have been competitive for decades. When NDSU rolls into town it is a big game. I give the program 4.5 stars for being what it is.
I give the BISON football team 3 stars for last season. They were a young bunch, 45 freshman, they were in the middle of controversy but still looked like they were the better team against the conferences top teams.
Winning and losing is cyclical. The quality of the program is whats important.
Its more than just football, which you haven't had any success in either.
They also made the Big Dance, and recieved a lot of attention for that, especially for Ben Woodside.
