Let's see, we use our carriers (paid for by our tax dollars), our warplanes (paid for by our tax dollars), our soliders (paid for by our tax dollars, and whom we we send out to be killed), our bombs (paid for by our tax dollars), to pave the way for the oil companies. And we do the same thing so that we can get our hands on other valuable commodities, so that Microsoft and Googlicious can have phones and computers built with cheap overseas labor so that everyone can purchase items that enslave them to the interweb.
We prop up gas prices, and food prices, with special interest Ethonol, we spend our tax dollars for a water supply to support some West Coast hippy farmers...and their megacorporation brothers, we...
