Did Boomers graduate college/enter the workforce during 2 wars and a recession?
Well, depends on when you define "Boomers". We did have the Korean War from 1950-53, the Vietnam War from the early 1960's to 1975 or so, and the Cold War from 1945 to 1990 or so. And during that time we had recessions in 1953-54, 1957-58, 1960-61, 1969-70, 1973-75. Surely a Boomer or two graduated college and entered the work force somewhere in that timeframe.

Oh for fucks sake, flaggy. What are you talking about? This is the first time you've mentioned bottom third of multiple generations.

Pssst.

Boomers are post WW2 children. I don't think many (if any) attended college during the Korean War. And was the recession like the most current?

Take your pick. Some recessions had higher peak unemployments, some recessions had about the same duration, some recessions happened much sooner following earlier recessions. I don't think there are any "good" recessions.

Back to theme of thread. Obama is no threat to any standup comic, living or dead. Some degree of self-awareness is the mark of a good humorist, and Obummer has none.

It's also the mark of a good human being. Are there any politicians who excell in this department...or comedy?

Only one recession was comparable to our most recent one. And it affected the generation just entering the workforce similarly (and, actually peaked slightly higher in 80s).
