Time to sell was about 1pm EC(b)T today. Might be a retest of the lows in coming days.
Don't try to time the market. Usually not a good idea. Back up close to day's high.
Quite a head fake today. Sold RAD at 8.28 after accumulating earlier in the week. I saw it hit 8.02 then close at 8.24. I bought CYBR today at 50.14 and sold a few hours later at 51.29 for a quick 2+%. Just about everyone sees the market going higher over the next few months, but many say we will retest lows first. At this point, I'm playing for a dip and will go all in then.

Do you really make a profit at 2%, when taxes and such are factored in?
Turns out I might be a little gay. 89Hen 11/7/17

Of course. If I make $10 on a short term trade, the government gets, at most, $3.96 (depends on tax bracket).

My dad turns 70.5 in February and has to draw his 401k. I try to remind him that he's balanced pretty well without a ton of stock exposure. I also try to remind him that this is a correction of a five year bull market. I'm not sure he cares.

Yep, we're getting these wild swings of plus or minus 100s of points a day for the last week +. Crazy. Except the negatives have been bigger/more numerous. Down -468 today, sitting just north of 16k..about -10% ytd.

Damn. Looks like things were up a bit the last 15 minutes or so. And after-hours as well. Hope I didn't miss out on the bottom. I was counting on a big drop at the end of trading tomorrow because of mutual fund redemptions.
