Conversely, I had a client in Macomb...while there, I almost slipped on the icy sidewalk out front. I commented to them about the potential danger from unsalted walkways: They laughed about my "Californian's" concern about icy sidewalks.

I have been discriminated against for being white too many times to recount here, from scholarships, to college admissions, to Air Force Officer selection, to Marine occupational specialty selection, to federal hiring, to the way I get treated on a daily basis, especially by black people, just to name a few. I pray that I am not targeted randomly on the street or Metro for being white, as happens with regularity here.
