Re: Emigration
Depends on who wins 2016...
Not really - love my country.
But if I had to leave, New Zealand sounds nice.
of course, retirement in Costa Rica sounds appealing.

Re: Emigration
I've enjoyed all the countries I've visited, but I don't live in an EC hell hole, so I don't feel a pressing need to leave this one.
If I had to, Canada, New Zealand or Austria I guess.

Re: Emigration
Germany
Both sides of my family are from the Leer, Germany area (not Leer itself but each of the towns/villages were within 10 minutes driving). When my grandparents were still alive we'd have family over from Germany. Most of my family still speaks Plattdüütsch. Though that seems to be a ways away from most Civilization (4-5 hours). Maybe Düsseldorf or Frankfurt. They seem to be more "centrally" located.
If not there London would be nice.
TBH and I did some looking right about the time of our wedding (6 years ago Saturday) but nothing ever came of it.
Staying closer to home though Vancouver was pretty awesome when I was there.

I don't think cleanse would make it. I mean, he is from Iofuckingwa, but he complains alot about the weather, wind, driving a truck in the wind, babies, video games, his hair cut, etc. He probably couldn't paddleboard more than 10 miles without complaining and getting eaten by a fucking shark or something.Grizalltheway wrote:Stand-up paddle board. No. I love Bozeman, and we don't have giant spiders or hurricanes, or any of that shit
My wife has a fantasy of moving to Australia to get away from all the spooky GMOs and Obamas. But they have Lord Humongouses so no deal. Also, f#cking crocodiles.

Well. You ARE from Iowa. It's more surprising about the plane. I bet you have everyone beat with driving combines. Or teenage funerals.clenz wrote:You ready for this?bandl wrote: Planning on taking a fucking boat there?

I don't have the time, or money, to fly for the fuck of it. Plus the whole Titanic thing and if I survive that there's fucking sharks.
At least if the plane goes down I'm wasted with it.
