There are some things I like about Graham. In the larger case, he is the typical establishment republican except that he has a major league fetish for the camera. I actually agree with him on many issues, immigration reform, giving the president discretion on cabinet appointees (although I totally disagree with him on giving that same discretion on Supreme Court Justices), and probably agree with him on most economic issues although like most establishment republicans he seems a little too comfortable with the cronyism of the status quo. But his excessive drum beating for war after being one of those that got us in this mess is simply something I can no longer listen too. Additionally, one of the reasons, I vote conservative, even though I may not be that much of one, is that conservatives talk about the constitution as written and intended. Yet so many of them, simply put that aside when looking at issues such as the NSA phone records issues. I have read the 4th amendment many times and while using technicalities you may be able to get around it, the intent of the amendment clearly is to stop the government from doing what it is doing. Yet old Lindsey's answer to that question is "Well I've got nothing to hide".
