I didn't think it was a dback troll thread, either. Change the title to Big Gay Al's Gay Marriage Thread, and watch what happens!

Any thread about Walker needs to start here:

He's not quite as bad as we're led to believe
and nowhere near as fantastic as the Right has fantasized he is

He's a slightly below average Governor in a slightly below average performing state
who has been wrongly blamed for a few failures and wrongly taken credit for a few gains

He's definitely a fighter and resilient. I think he has a shot to beat Hilary. He's shown neocon tendencies so far but no more than Hilary and unlike Jeb, he hasn't hired Negroponte and Wolfowitz as FP advisors.

He's also a corporatist which you practically have to be to raise money but I'd say government spending to support social programs and government spending to support corporations is probably a push for the voters at this point.

Clinton-Walker will be as much of a choice as Obama - Romney. :coffee:

Halperin has been a Democrat operative from birth. He comes from one of the most liberal bloodlines in America.
Daddy is a Donk socialist, currently working for both Center for American Progress AND a Senior Adviser for George Soros' Open Society Organization. One of his two brothers is a published, world recognized expert in gay and lesbian social theory (whatever the hell that is), and the other brother is a published author/expert/educator in yoga (no ****).

I've studied Mark Halperin's journalistic conduct for 24 years, since he worked as an ABC political reporter covering the '92 Clinton campaign: His responsibility was to sell Bill Clinton. When Clinton won, Halperin was rewarded by being promoted to head of ABC News. Halperin never tried to hide his liberal roots/bias, and has been routinely passed over as a debate moderator due to his bias.

Dense....wow. I transpose F for P, having no effect on my premise, admit the mistake, and you spend 4 days following me around this website repeating over and over and over.

Look, I know you're jealous, but:

2) You're still the Village Idiot.

You agree with Kalm that Halperin is a "conk commentator"?

Nope,
I think you have deep seated confirmation bias
and regardless of "your studies" the outcome you seek is already determined in your mind

Thats about where I am on him- except I dont know if Id call him below average in terms of his signature accomplishment in MI - breaking the public employee unions- thats a big deal and one I agree with. He did it in a distinctly blue state and then withstood a pretty nasty recall circus. That alone gives him more executive chops than anyone on the GOP ticket and Hillary too.

I think he's being deified for those two things- the unions and the recall. I think if he shows that he isnt a total goober in the debates he has an even shot at the nomination because at this point he looks like the only adult in the room given the field.
