NAU's is on the 25th of this month - spring practice is in full swing.


Who attends spring games?

NDSU had theirs last weekend. Lance Dunn from Waterloo, IA, has been looking good at RB. The next Don Perkins.

Sac State has theirs this Saturday. I go if my schedule is open, it's nice to get a little taste of football to hold me over until kickoff in the fall.

Interesting that Navy's coach has cancelled all spring intrasquad games, at least for the duration of his tenure. This year, he even cancelled the last three practices, surprising all his assistants. I understand the unique nature of the school, but that seems a bit unusual to me....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
