It must suck wanting to be friends with and understand those who want to kill us.

Yes, Andy. Desiring objectivity and understanding from our leaders and media does suck. Ignorance is bliss! :thumb:

At least Obama isn't leading chants "Death to My Opposition", yet.

Lots of ink being spilled attacking critics of Da Deal

Very little credible defense of Da Deal itself

Almost as little as is being offered in the way of alternatives. Except, of course, sanctions bomb 'em lol.

Obviously sanctions were working to some extent, ya know since they wanted to make a deal and all. :coffee:

thats a tired old lazy meme

the alternative is we dont deal with Iran until they are ready to give up the nukes

(and it doesn't matter if that is a beneficial goal or not)

its really simple

That's a valid point. How many if your folks agree with it?

I don't have "folks"

But if we discard politics and re-insert logic in this situation (something that is beyond SK's mental capacity)- all we have done is to expend thousands of hours of negotiating time finding a way to lift all sanctions on Iran for absolutely nothing in return.

So there doesn't need to be a "better" alternative.... The better alternative really would have been to do nothing

BTW the somehow blind and dumb defenders of this deal claim the the opposition prefers war. Clitz us also implying this- but that is a tacit admission that a nuclear Iran is a threat -

Doing nothing and leaving crushing sanctions in place IS a middle ground solution and it doesn't mean we go to war. But this deal leaves their nuke program intact so any discussion of this being about war or peace is moot.

Bingo!
Why is the administration so determined to do something to lift sanctions that are working?

Why might we want to make Iran more prosperous when this prosperity would be used to speed up the development of nukes and make war more likely not less? For the life of me, I don't see the upside of giving up on middle ground solutions to make war less likely.

If prosperity had anything to do with acquiring nukes, North Korea wouldn't have them. :coffee:

And if North Korea can get them Iran sure as hell can. Get used to it.

No kidding. This is like being worried about your neighbor's new airsoft gun when you have a gun safe full of 12 gauges. :coffee:

The gun safe isn't going to bring back your kid that your neighbor shoots when he upgrades to a .22.

Except in this case there is no kid. We win no matter who uses nukes on each other in the middle east. :thumb:
