That's exactly what he's doing. And, it turns out it may just be the Obamacare exchange in DC - since he would get a FEDERAL SUBSIDY to do so.

He can sign up for a private policy outside of an exchange - but, it will be much more expensive for him.

1. No, he has to pick a "government approved" plan, period. He has no say so in the matter.
2. Cruz has already gone on the record saying that he will not take a subsidy if he goes on Obamacare.
