Re: 2015 March Madness
Who was the biggest snub in the Dance?
All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

Re: 2015 March Madness
biggest snub? don't know, but I would have put in any of miami, colorado state, or temple in over ucla. Any team with a 2-8 road record doesn't belong in the NCAA Tourney.
As for the East bracket, I'm taking the UNI/Nova matchup with Nova winning to advance to the elite 8 (sorry clenz).

Why is it so fucking expensive to fly to your fucking state?
I can fly to England for the same price as fucking Seattle.

Might as well give predictions as the Tourney starts tonight.
Elite 8: UK, Butler, Nova, UVA, Duke, Iowa St., Wisc., Zona
Final 4: UK, Nova, Zona, Iowa St.
Final: Zona, Nova

Anyone using the mobile app yet this year? I swear, I don't know why they mess with stuff - the app last year worked seamlessly, no problem getting games. But I've had a heckuva time this year getting the app to even respond, it just freezes so much this year. Was able to see the end of both the Notre Dame and Iowa St games, but spent 10 minutes trying to get the Georgia St game to come up and couldn't get it.

Indeed, and considering that most people have Wichita St beating Kansas this weekend, it's going to be a very dark first two rounds for the supposedly best conference in America.clenz wrote:HAHAHAHAHAHA

The CBSSports/NCAA app to have live feeds of the games. I mean, how can I expect to be sitting here at work if I can't watch the games live on my phone? Worked without issue last year, this year, just buggy as all get out.Ibanez wrote:The ESPN app? It's not too bad.GannonFan wrote:Anyone using the mobile app yet this year? Last years was perfect though. Worked significantly better than the ESPN app

It's been years since I didn't have a TV in my office, but I remember watching the games on my computer with no problem. Still an option or no?GannonFan wrote:The CBSSports/NCAA app to have live feeds of the games. I mean, how can I expect to be sitting here at work if I can't watch the games live on my phone? That's what I'm doing, but Ganny's network might (wisely) block it.bandl wrote:It's been years since I didn't have a TV in my office, but I remember watching the games on my computer with no problem. Still an option or no?GannonFan wrote:

Re: 2015 March Madness
Last year's was great, never had a problem with it. This year, I've probably had the app freeze on me no less than 50 times already. I still haven't seen the Georgia St 3-pointer so I'm pissed about that. This app is only really good for the next 4 days, so not working correctly on day 1 is a significant failure in my book.clenz wrote:Haven't tried the app this y ear.GannonFan wrote:

Re: 2015 March Madness
Probably a network thing but I can't use the laptop to watch so I juse use the phone and watch wirelessly. Has worked before, but apparently the upgrades to this year's app have gotten in the way of that.Grizalltheway wrote:That's what I'm doing, but Ganny's network might (wisely) block it.bandl wrote: It's been years since I didn't have a TV in my office, but I remember watching the games on my computer with no problem. My work internet has 1.3mbps download speed..yeah, that's not a joke...and it's streaming very well on my work computer.
We are supposed to get 20 mbps and we get 1.3.
We are supposed to be getting moved to a 100mbps system here in the next week or two though.

Re: 2015 March Madness
Wow, what a tough ending for SMU - the kid goaltends on a UCLA 3point shot that wasn't going to go in, but he clearly took it off the rim. Just can't do that. What a way to end the season for SMU.
