Oh, so now this is your excuse.

What happened to "it's raining buckets right now and there is no drought?"

Satire..., oh slow one.

Regardless the precipitation rate, California will NEVER have adequate supplies until more storage is built.

Not necessary, all those sunny days without rain are just more solar energy. California can export solar energy and take payment in water. :thumb:

A pint of water for a kW of electricity.

Don't forget the Tunnels project has been in development since before Moonbeam came back...being pushed by LA water to skirt the pumps restrictions/brackish-water quality issues...

...Moonbeam ONLY supports it because it benefits the SoCal Oligarchs.

CA needs the Sites reservoir to be fast tracked...and the Auburn Reservoir revived.

First, Densedawg, I no longer own property in the region...I have no skin in the game.

Second, the American River watershed is principally managed by three dams...two storage one flood control only. Adding the Auburn Dam would resolve flood control issues and increase the regional storage capacity 54% (allowing Folsom to increase 17% due to upstream flood control storage).

Third, I realize it's virtually impossible for you to refrain from going manic-Troll anytime I post, but your lack of knowledge is painfully embarrassing. Don't you have some old PS2 games you can go play?

So, serious question. Because you refer to "SoCal Oligarchs" do you support California being broken into different states?

Oh I know, these tunnels are nothing new...and I sure hope they get built. Helps SoCal (which is way better than shitty norcal) and slaps down all those farmers in the Delta getting free water.

Absolutely. The existing governance IS FAILING for half the state (demographically). The representation from the two major urban areas have been utterly shitting on the remaining 90% geographic regions of CA. This is a HUGE issue that has the residents of that 90% region FURIOUS.

You answered exactly as I thought you would. I know it's next to impossible for secession and it will most likely never happen. California is more than LA, San Diego, Sacramento and San Fran. So much more and different.

Farming has been CA's top economic engine for the past century. Take a trip up Hwy 99 all the way to Chico...orvisit the Salinas Valley. $$$$$ It's taken a hit the past 30 years, but is still VERY strong.

Not really. :coffee:
I liked the six state initiative from this last fall...BTW, there's a legal challenge to its disqualification: It had enough signatures...the SOS is now claiming a the signature GATHERING was flawed.
The six regions isolated tech, ag, L.A., winemaking, Tea Party types...it was actually well thought out.

Having said that, I don't believe it could ever happen. I still support the concept, though.
