The thing I get out of this is how old is Hillary? Seriously, what is it with old people and not knowing how to get e-mail, from multiple e-mail accounts, on one phone? I blame Chelsea, the kids are supposed to help their folks with the technology once the parents are old enough that they say stuff like this.

Nah, I can't help it that some people only limit themselves to one area of technology. You can't stream everything yet, and there's still some places (like my minivan on a long trip) where having a disk makes a lot more sense. I prefer not to be limited, but to each their own.

I find the technology gap very interesting. Trying to get 50+ employees to learn new software is like pulling teeth and takes months. Put a 22 year old in front of it and they have it down in hours. I'm somewhere in between as I loathe upgrades, while younger people around me can't wait for them.

I still call bullshit b/c I highly doubt that the US Gov't would allow SIPRNET to be installed in someone's private residence. She'd have to utilize a VPN. The hoops I had to go through to get SIPRNET in a gov't building was a fiasco. I can only imagine how difficult to impossible it is for a private residence.

I have a personal iPhone...I get four different accounts on one e-mail app...

Along comes DOD and they covert from BlackBerries to iPhones...I gotta carry a separate one for work now...

My kid brother does network security for a hospital chain...they have a BYOD policy...bring your own devise...they segregate work from personal email and browser...but DoD will have none of that...

So, I carry two...not real hard because now I only need one charger...

You cannot get SIPR outside of government controlled facilities. It doesn't matter who you are.

Actually, it is possible to get an approved SIPR connection in a contractor facility, but it's a bitch of a process and not worth it for most contractors. The majority of the time, I'll approve just a DD-254 for facility clearance of material, without .smil access at the facility. In fact, I have never had a contractor request SIPRNet connection in their facility. The encryption devices alone would be a hefty investment, and they can just get what they need in our facilities.
