Now if the NCAA wouldn't allow any Alabama teams in postseason play until the ruling was changed the Bama Supreme Court would reverse before lunch...  :coffee: :coffee:

We've launched 100's of sorties against ISIS and literally have troops on the ground orchestrating Iraqi Army counterinsurgency efforts.

a) I am not the reason Alabama comes in dead last (or near last) in every important state category
b) I love the south... Two of my very best buddies live in Atlanta and I've got family in Louisiana

The constitution doesn't say anything about marriage or latent homosexuality either.
Which is precisely why the government shouldn't be in the marriage business.

Get rid of the tax implications and this is a non-issue overnight.

CID and I have been saying this ^ since 2006... dating back to AGS poly debates

I agree. I think it should be up to a church who they want to marry. I'm wondering though, if the moralist states would still have defense of marriage laws on the books and what would happen if a church in one of those states married a gay couple. Does it then become a speech issue?

I don't think the tax implications and visitation rights are driving this in Alabama.
