Twice, seriously. Took a pass. I'm a kingmaker. Persuaded three to run for office, set up, managed the campaigns for one DA, two city councilmen, worked on campaigns (organizer) for one sheriff, one state assemblyman....have only lost one race.

Don't forget...I was a labor leader in my youth. Politics was a matter of survival.

I was too young. But there are some incumbents vacating their offices after the terms expire so I may try again.
