The wording went from "climate change is real and human activity contributes to it" (which was voted down) to "climate change is not a hoax."

Pretty much, now Republicans are on record for acknowledging the science of climate change, but the impact of mankind on it is still in question.

Seriously the prophecy about the fate of democracies is playing out before our eyes in Congress. I dont know why so many of them take themselves so seriously. Their individual worth to this country is somewhere slightly south of gas station attendant
