You know the #1 reason why I don't worry about world government/NWO conspiracy theories? Because the world is just too heterogeneous for it to work. Trying to create a world government would be like trying to build a house of cards outdoors on a windy day. Kind of like Iraq…that place it always going to be a powder keg waiting to explode because of all the different groups and interests in that country. Too much diversity is not a good thing.

Diversity leads to an increase in the wopanese race. We don't need that.

Re: Wrong answer
Some of the strongest and also the most harmonious societies on earth are also the most homogenous, and they all have laws in place to keep them racially homogenousCluck U wrote:Yesterday, when I was picking up my son, one of the ladies, and one of my neighbors, started talking to me about a video that a teacher showed in my son's class.
Apparently, the video showed people's faces, and the kids were supposed to fill in blanks, from a word bank (friendly, angry, mean, approachable, etc.), to describe those people. After they selected their words, they were given more information about the people and then they were able to select words again. The video showed the people with, "unfriendly" faces as waiting 18 months for a new heart, or some other tragedy. Of course, the kids would change their word selection.
I'm OK with that. Empathy.
However, my neighbor decided to ramble on with her own pulpitude (I'm trademarking that word). She said, and I quote, "It is ALWAYS good to teach these kids something new about diversity because diversity is such a good thing, don't you think?"
Without missing a beat, I responded, "Sure, just ask the Native Americans...it worked out so well for them."
Apparently, that was the wrong answer.

China
Go look at the immigration websites for those countries... er wait... there arent any immigration websites to those countries. If you arent ethnic Chinese you cant become a Chinese citizen

Re: Wrong answer
I think there are advantages and disadvantages to a culturally and ethnically diverse population.
The problem is that the advantages of diversity of input are lost if you insist upon diversity of output.
Example: The fact that we have a diverse population helps us field a strong Olympic team. Because we have people of West African ancestry we are able to field a very strong sprint team. Because we have people of caucasian ancestry that have athleticism combined with a percentage of body fat that makes them buoyant we have a strong swim team. So on and so forth.
But if we were to insist that the output were such that the sprint team be diverse so that it included some "critical mass" of non Blacks while the swim team were "diverse" so that it included a certain "critical mass" of Blacks we would have a weaker olympic team.
If you do anything other than establish objective criteria independent of ethnicity or anything else and let the chips fall where they may diversity becomes a disadvantage. When you have something like we have now where people are looking at whether or not each unit is "diverse" enough while really meaning "does it have enough 'people of color' or not?" you're being counter productive in terms of having the most effective society.
Kind of like today there's this thing about the academy awards nominees not being "diverse" enough. Really? Is that what we want? Do we want people to be sitting there thinking, while they're trying to decide who they think did the best job at this or that, that they need to make sure they include enough "people of color," or "women," or anything else like that? Or do we just want them to pick who they think did the best job independent of such considerations?

Newsflash...
I had dinner with Mrs. Cluck tonight and met a person from California...San Jose area.
He said that seafood on the East Coast was much better than that on the West Coast.
That should put an end to all the bickering around here...and it clearly identifies those of us who really know our stuff.
