We already have free public education for everyone...and where has it gotten us?
We have affordable Delaware State University, and many similar universities, with their enormously high drop out rate, and Community Colleges all over the map, with their very high drop out rates...and where has it gotten us?
We have free education for our military...and how many of them are using that productively?
But yeah, affordable education is the next important thing next to health care..and "this" shouldn't be fought.
