I agree with Cluck - it's nothing new from radical Muslims on pictures of Mohammed, especially considering France's geographical location & geopolitical situation it's inviting a reaction which unfortunately for them cost lives.
I don't disagree with that part either. Just that it shouldn't happen.

What shouldn't happen, the loss of lives or EO shots?

The loss of lives. Donahue only partly agrees.

What are EO shots?

Yeah, I didn't get that EO thing either. Probably some damned secret Muslin code for, "Slay the Infidels!"

You should probably take a cue from Joltin Joe's response and quit defending Donahue. :coffee:
Just saying if someone is going to quote someone they shouldn't certain quotes that come down in one side of the fence, and exclude quotes that come down on the other. Sure Donohie was talking out both sides of his mouth..

Thing is if you flipped the roles and a black person goes into a white neighborhood yelling "crackers" and "honkies" they aren't going to be attacked in the same way. Lesser people's are going to committ violence over pictures or words..

Well, probably not in a white, affluent neighborhood. You do that in a poverty stricken white neighborhood and I don't think the outcome would be the same. Race isn't the only factor.

Well, probably not in a white, affluent neighborhood. You do that in a poverty stricken white neighborhood and I don't think the outcome would be the same. Race isn't the only factor.

Exactly.

Growing up I ran cross country/track on a mostly black team (some times I was the only white guy on the team).

When we did training runs through an affluent white neighborhood, we had cops follow us in squad cars. When we did training runs through a working class white neighborhood we had bottles and racial slurs thrown at us.

They all were probably trying to help you, you ignorant azz.

Anytime someone sees a couple white people running after a bunch of black people, they probably figured that the black people stole something from you and that you were stupid enough to try to chase them down to get your stuff back.

I've never met a person who takes offense to being called honky or cracker. If I were to be called that, I think I would laugh.

I agree. Unless I was called an "unsalted cracker". I hate those. I would have to break out the Louisville Sluggers in this case. :D

Well what do you expect when you have a bunch of black guys not walking but RUNNING through an affluent white neighborhood?

Plus you should be thankful for that. I'm assuming you ran in the street. When motorists see police cars they naturally slow down. Would have meant less chance of being hit by a car. Kept you safer.

LOL. I was the fastest white guy in school. Ran Cross-Country, but also ran 440/880. My older brother was all-city hurdler, ran sprint relays. I also did the mile relay.
Also triple jumped.
Sophomore year we got a new coach - black guy. Tried to make me a distance runner. Asked him if it was because I was white. Our relationship got off to a rocky start. LOL
