The FBI is looking for a potential person of interest following an explosion outside a local NAACP chapter. No one was injured in Tuesday's blast in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The FBI said an improvised explosive device detonated next to a gas can but the can did not ignite, according to NBC station KOAA. The blast left singe marks against the building which houses the local NAACP chapter and a hair salon called Mr. G's Hair Design Studios, KOAA reported.
It was too soon to know if the nation's oldest civil rights organization was the target of the act, FBI spokeswoman Amy Sanders told The Associated Press. She told the AP investigators were looking for a balding white man in his 40s who may be driving a dirty pickup truck which could have an open tailgate or a missing or covered license plate. Colorado Springs police deferred requests for comment to the FBI.
The president of the local NAACP chapter, Henry Allen Jr., told KOAA that "apparently we are doing something correct," suggesting the attack was targeted at his organization.
"Apparently we have the attention of someone that knows we are working for civil rights for all," he said. "That is making some people uncomfortable, so therefore they feel the need to target."

Talk is that Federal authorities have been to Montana to talk to both Bronco and jizzaholic, the latter of whom was cleared this morning after it being determined he is too stupid to set off any explosion as he does not know how to use a lighter.
