A Texas mom described as an avid gun rights activist went on a rampage Wednesday, shooting to death her estranged husband and his adult daughter before driving to a mental health hospital, police said.
Veronica Dunnachie, 35, who was in the process of getting a divorce, had been ordered to move out of the couple's Arlington, Texas, home by the end of the month, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.
Dunnachie sent two children to school and a third to a baby sitter before returning home and allegedly killing Russ Dunnachie, 50, and Kimberly Dunnachie, 20, according to NBC 5. Police have charged her with murder.
Veronica Dunnachie's Facebook page shows the gun-toting Dunnachie firing an assault rifle, which she made her profile photo just last week. Another image on the social media site features a smiling Dunnachie standing in a grocery store parking lot wearing a holstered handgun on her hip.
Dunnachie reportedly participated in Open Carry events around the area.
An alarming (Cheney-like) quote on her Facebook page, according to multiple sources, foreshadows her deadly acts: "Sometimes removing some people out of your life makes room for better people."
