Check the box scores
Stop Johnson on the run and he gets 200 yards receiving, aka Iowa game.
But it's easy, right?
All you have to do is load the box on UNI and send 9 at DJ on every play.
UNI threw for over 200 on 5 completions yesterday, and 4 of them were in the air less than 10 yards from the los. Fake to DJ, all lb and db bite (because all you have to do is stop DJ, right) and the seams were wide open.
I agree, it sounds really, really, easy to stop the uni offense. The issue is DJ truly is such an athletic freak its not that easy.
He is 6'3 230 lbs and runs a 4.4 or 4.5. Reps 315 10 times and does squat sets at over 500.
He is what EWU fans thought Taiwann Jones was.
Now, if you do find a way to completely stop DJ you'll probably win by a couple scores. The issue is the only person that's been able to stop DJ this year is Bill Salmon.
Unlike Zenner, who is the ultimate feast on bad defenses and famine on good defense back DJ feasts on everyone
