Re: Liberty @ JMU
End of third quarter. Liberty punted it back before the end of the quarter. Great kick, with arguments for both a Liberty recovery of a muff or a Liberty touching about twenty yards before the kick rolled dead, but neither of those were allowed. JMU was stuffed on a FB dive just before the end of the quarter.
JMU 21, Liberty 20, end 3Q.
JMU 21, Liberty 20, end 3Q.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Liberty ground clock for most of the 4th. Touchdown with about 2 min left to take the lead 26-21. JMU called for PI on a fade attempt. Liberty runs option on the re-try. QB's head gets into the end zone, but the ball doesn't. JMU to drive for the win after the commercial break.
Liberty 26, JMU 21.
Liberty 26, JMU 21.

So much for James Madison's momentum…
Two huge road wins in a row for the Flames, though. They're definitely capable of knocking off Villanova, too, given that Nova hasn't looked quite as sharp the second half of the season.

Re: Liberty @ JMU
Richmond moves on to face #7 CCU. Liberty heads to Philly to take on #6 Villanova. The way the brackets are set up, Liberty can't play CCU again until the Semis the weekend of 19-20 DEC. In all likelihood, that's not going to happen as Liberty will probably come to the end of the road at 'Nova. But us Flames fans will be cheering for all we're worth to keep it going.dal4018 wrote:I thought that Coastal Carolina was their next opponent????Mvemjsunpx wrote:So much for James Madison's momentum…

Geez, JMU falls at home to a Big South school? Embarrassing. I probably put the whammy on the Dukes by picking them.

Hitler must be happy.
And not, it's not a shot at Liberty. It's about the thing with the video of Hitler being upset that Liberty drew JMU.
