Sacramento St over Portland St. Both playing for pride and home field helps. Cal Poly over UC Davis. Would not expect it to be close. Montana over So Utah. The Grizzlies still have ever so slim hope for playoffs. No Colorado over Weber St. The Bears are not a good team but Wildcats are worse. Montana St over Idaho St. Bobcats do just enough at home to eek out a 61-59 win. No Dakota over No Arizona. This is as likely as picking correct lottery numbers, but the Lumberjacks are apt to drop the most unlikely games. So this is the upset special for the week.
Sac - A fast finish to a lost season.
Cow Poly - Blowout.
Montana - Looking for the last couple of berths.
BBQ - Gotta root for the team that took in my UOP teammate (StL Special Teams Coordinator John Fassel) after we lost the program.
ISU - MSU in an NAU-like swoon.
UND - It started with an ugly game against the Manure Pile, and continues against a team capable of being a spoiler....
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

You're giving the Manure Pile too much credit, Ranger....

70-16, pretty good year for me so far. Striving for perfection again.
ISU at MSU---One team's dream season continues, one team's dream season takes a major hit. Both teams want this. It should be a good one...MSU 45, ISU 42.
UM at SUU---The Thunderbirds are still looking to ruin someone's season and the Grizzlies, for some strange reason, struggle on the road. Have to go with the home team...SUU 28, UM 16.
NAU at UND---The Lumberjacks also seem to be a totally different team on the road and the No-Names play tough in their barn. But not tough enough...NAU 28, UND 25.
UNC at WSU---The Bears are coming off a bye and hope to get another win. The Wildcats have improved all year and finally got their first win last week. It should continue at home...WSU 28, UNC 14.
PSU at SAC---The Vikings are capable of so much more and can win this game. The Hornets, however, have too much offensive firepower to overcome. Vikings find another way to lose...SAC 38, PSU 20.
UCD at CP---The Mustangs final conference game and they need it to stay in the conference race. The Aggies would love to get the win and spoil everything for the Mustangs...CP 42, UCD 24.

Grumble, grumble, grumble.
Let me say good game to Sac State. Your guys deserve the win.
For the last three years Burton has been preaching finish. This game is one of many since then that we did not do just that. One of the posters on Big Sky Fans started a "#frustration". I'd have to say that sums it up perfectly.

3-3, picked the wrong upset (or two). 73-19 for the year.

4 & 2 this week.
My lottery pick came in, though I don't know how in the heck Cal Poly got thumped.

It was a pretty even 1st half that went back and forth. Then PSU grabbed all the momentum with that fumble return and dominated the 3rd qtr. Then on a drive that would have put the game away, Sac gets an INT and all the momentum swings our way and the Hornets dominate the 4th qtr. Entertaining game and I'm glad the seniors got to go out at home with a win.
