Post by Mvemjsunpx »

Big Sky

UMT 21-41 CP
UND 17-35 SUU
PORTST 30-17 WEB
EWU 27-28 NAU
IDST 46-12 NOCO

  • NConf Record: 0-0
    Overall: 17-26

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 8-9

Best Performance: Cal Poly 41, (#7) Montana 21 - The 'Stangs hand UM their most lopsided I-AA/FCS loss since 1998 largely thanks to Chris Brown breaking his own school record with 226 QB rushing yards.

Worst Performance: North Dakota 17, Southern Utah 35 - The supposedly stout No-Nick D allows Ammon Olsen to complete 92% of his passes for 320 yards and 4 TDs.

Most Surprising Result: Northern Arizona 28, (#2) Eastern Washington 27 - OK, I admit this upset didn't surprise me, but I certainly didn't expect NAU's third-string quarterback to pull off a 3-play, 77-yard drive in the final 50 seconds.

Southland

NICH 21-31 HBU
SELU 17-27 SFA
ACU 21-38 SHSU
MCNSE 41-21 UIW
NWST 35-58 UCA

  • NConf Record: 0-0
    Overall: 16-23

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 8-9

Best Performance: Central Arkansas 58, Northwestern St. 35 - After trailing 14-7, the Bears went on a 51-7 run before the Demons tacked on a couple garbage TDs.

Worst Performance: Nicholls St. 21, Houston Baptist 31 - Colonel QB Beaux Hebert's father helped lead the New Orleans Saints to their first-ever NFL playoff appearance. I'm not sure any amount of NFL pedigree could lead the current Nicholls State program anywhere. :ohno:

Most Surprising Result: Stephen F. Austin 27, (#8) Southeastern Louisiana 17 - Before this, the Lumberjacks' best win probably came against winless Weber. :?

Missouri Valley

NDSU 47-7 SDK
YSU 30-27 SDKST
MIZST 7-21 ILST
UNI 27-13 WIU
INST 41-26 SIU

  • NConf Record: 0-0
    Overall: 28-11

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 23-1

Best Performance: (#22) Indiana St. 41, (#20) Southern Illinois 26 - Sycamore QB Mike Perish shreds the Saluki defense for 353 yards, 4 TDs, and 0 picks.

Worst Performance: South Dakota 7, (#1) North Dakota St. 47 - The Coyotes cement their status as worst team in the MVFC by losing to NDSU by 33 more points than Western Illinois did.

Most Surprising Result: (#22) Indiana St. 41, (#20) Southern Illinois 26 - The Sycamores are dead last in the conference in running the ball, yet still managed to outrush the Salukis 215-27.

OVC

TSU 3-28 EIU
TTU 3-49 JAXST
SEMO 21-33 EKU
kywes 29-86 MUR
AP 7-37 UTM

  • NConf Record: 1-0
    Overall: 14-18

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 6-10

Best Performance: Eastern Illinois 28, Tennessee St. 3 - The Panthers continue their recent domination as they hope to win out & somehow steal an auto bid.

Worst Performance: Austin Peay 7, Tennessee-Martin 37 - The Governors follow up last week's surprising win by getting whipped by Dylan Favre and the Skyhawk offense.

Most Surprising Result: Tennessee St. 3, Eastern Illinois 28 - A 4th. straight loss makes the Tigers' 2014 season officially a disaster.

Pioneer League

DAY 29-40 USD
BUT 19-21 DRAKE
CAMP 20-27 MARIST
STET 40-34 DVDSN
JU 61-10 lime
VALPO 47-48 MHEAD

  • NConf Record: 1-0
    Overall: 14-21

    vs. FCS: 0-0

Best Performance: San Diego 40, Dayton 29 - Please don't tell eGriz than the Toreros were led in rushing by Dallas Kessman. :hide:

Worst Performance: Davidson 34, Stetson 40 - The woeful Wildcats commit 5 turnovers against the horrible Hatters.

    Most Surprising Result: (none)

Tomorrow: the rest of the playoff conferences.

Worst Performance: Gardner-Webb 0, Liberty 34 - The Bulldogs' road pathetic-ness continues as they are held to 56 total yards by a team not exactly known for defense.

Most Surprising Result: Presbyterian 18, Monmouth 12 - I picked Presbyterian to win, but it's still surprising to see the Blue Hose with a 5-3 record.
